The Mystical Glance of Oneness

One of the highest attributes of the spiritual life, the oneness of creation arises from an existential fact: the greater the effacement of the ego-self, the more one is attuned to . . . an invisible matrix of being, a web of relations so intimate and sensitive that we cannot help but be awed by beauty. Divine Mystery is this intricate matrix of being, pouring itself out, interpenetrating reality, dancing in the circle of life, ebbing and flowing with the passion of simply being.
Oneness is a holy sight. It is a key to the mystery of existence and the source of compassion, generosity, and hope.
